Volunteers Needed - Combining Hives

Help get Willow Springs Bee Sanctuary ready for winter. by helping to combine weak hives; replace damaged hive boxes; move bees that have outgrown their boxes to larger digs.; and  feed colonies as needed.

Bring your hive tool, protective gear and smoker. We supply the hive boxes, frames, newspaper and feeders. Basic beekeeping proficiency required. No worries if you have never combined a hive. We will teach you so you have one more trick up your sleeve!
