Beekeeping 101

Beekeeping 101 is an introductory course that includes instruction, discussions, and suiting up to inspect the hives in the bee yard.  

1. Free!
2. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, INCLUDING GUESTS. NO DROP-INS OR EXTRA PEOPLE, PLEASE.
3. No prior experience is needed.
4. Wear long THICK pants, such as JEANS; closed-toed shoes, preferably BOOTS; and thick socks. Please bring water.
5. Please provide loaner suit size at the time of registration.
6. Be aware: there is always a possibility of bee stings. 

NOTE: This class takes place on the first Saturday of every month. Space is limited and the class fills very quickly. Reserve your spot by registering now. Once the class fills, you will be able to join the wait list. We will notify you if anyone cancels, or you will get priority registration for the following event.

Registration opens in early October. Wait list from previous session will get priority registration.
